Promise of a descendant, all nations blessed

The promise to Abraham included a “descendant”. His promised son, Isaac, inherited these promises and the nation of Israel was born through his offspring. Ultimately, the promised seed is the Lord Jesus Christ.

Calling of David, everlasting throne

The Kingdom of Israel was established with David as King. He received a promise of an everlasting kingdom and throne. The promise has not yet been fulfilled and David will be raised to see the promised Lord Jesus Christ as King.
